Sensis launches online auction to challenge eBay

SENSIS has launched an online auction service on its Trading Post classified website amid hopes it can lure professional sellers unhappy with market leader eBay.
The auction service, which coincides with an overhaul of the Tradingpost.com.au website, aims to take advantage of unrest among merchants over eBay’s move to ban any electronic payment method except the PayPal service it owns.
