ebay has just announced a new promotion, the “eBay Box,” that is designed to be reused, sent from eBay seller to buyers, and then sent further along, until the end of its useful life.
EBay Says: PayPal Only Please
Beginning July 1st 2011, eBay will require its customers to use only Paypal for all purchases. All other third party checkouts will no longer be allowed.

eBay claims that only about 10% of purchases made are done by third party options. In the same announcement, the online auction giant tried to throw a little oil on what will surely be turbulant waters as reactions ripple through the web. eBay says it will be upgrading its checkout system with better credit card integration, tax reporting and smoother shipping to places like Alaska and Hawaii. Man Guilty In eBay ‘Cookie-Stuffing’ Fraud
A Las Vegas man will be sentenced in federal court in San Jose in November for carrying out a crime known as “cookie stuffing” against the online auction site eBay.
Christopher Kennedy, 28, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge James Ware on Thursday to one count of conspiring to commit wire fraud. He will be sentenced by Ware on Nov. 1.
eBay’s iPad app amongst top downloaded software
The top news all over the world must be the launch of the Apple iPad.
It was a very successful launch and not surprisingly eBay’s iPad app is one of the most downloaded considering its large user base.
Many of those who tried the program claim that the user experience is much better than surfing the web site on a regular computer.

eBay launches new sellers apps for iPhone

eBay yesterday launched two iPhone selling apps, one for the eBay.com global marketplace and one for eBay’s new classifieds site, eBayClassifieds.com.
Both free apps are immediately available for downloads in Apple iTune App Store.
It was also announced that on April 3, eBay will take mobile commerce a step further, with a new version of the eBay app for iPad.

New Ebay Partner Network features live on March 30th
eBay Partner Network will be rolling out new features to the eBay Partner Network (ePN) interface on March 30th.
The updates includes to the dashboard, the addition of a new landing page report, a new way to handle archived campaigns, and an overhaul to the Creatives Generator to make it easier to use.
