The eBay Android app is now available for free at the Android Market. To download it, search for “eBay” from the Android Market on your handset.

Like most Android apps, the eBay Android app also supports speech-to-text voice search.

The app allows you to search, buy, pay, and check status of your eBay activities anywhere.

PayPal stops payments to and from India

Online shop eBay’s popular electronic payment system PayPal seems to have been blocking all personal transactions to and from India. Strangely, it has offered no justification for this decision.

In a perplexing move, popular electronic payment gateway PayPal Inc has suddenly started blocking personal transactions to and from India. PayPal was allowing business transactions till a few days ago, but now has also stopped it along with personal and gift payments.

Sellers can now edit almost everything in live multi-quantity fixed price listings even after a sale on the item, except for title, category, duration and format.

If you need to add quantity, modify the item price, edit the description, modify shipping costs etc, you don’t need to end and recreate the listing. You can simply revise your live listings. Buyers who had previously bought the item will have an option to see the earlier version of the listing.
